Hello my name is Doreen and my passion is all things woolly. Taking a raw sourced fleece from Scottish farmers and making it into something beautiful that shows the beauty of this amazing resource, WOOL.
Wool, wool and more wool
you can never have to much!!!! Weather it’s roving or yarn everything I making is made with love of this material. I hand process everything from hand dyed roving and fibre also locks to yarn that is spun on my spinning wheels.
Workshops
whatever you want to learn, let me show you, from raw fleece to useable fibre to felting to peg looming I will take you though everything you need to know to produce a finished item
Fleeces
I buy all my fleeces from local farmers, I visit the farms and see how the sheep is looked after first hand and talk to the farmers. I have long wool fleeces, teeswater, Wensleydale to the gorgeous shetlands and Jacobs. Each fleece is different with its own characteristics making it a fantastic material to work with!!!!!🐑
